Obstetrician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing obstetric clinic coverage at a 25-bed facility in John Day, Oregon, supporting full-scope obstetric services on-site. The clinician will handle a patient volume of 16–20 per day, including low-volume deliveries and C-section procedures in a rural setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic care with on-call responsibilities via beeper during day shifts
• Maintain continuity of obstetric care across scheduled clinic days and call periods
• Support clinical operations with a team of OB hospital personnel, OB RNs, respiratory therapists, and CRNAs

Requirements

• Obstetric board certification is negotiable
• Ability to handle clinical duties in a low-volume delivery setting
• Strong communication and support skills for on-site team collaboration
