About the role

This position is for a locum tenens obstetrician providing clinic and full-scope services at a 25-bed facility in John Day, Oregon. The clinician will support obstetric care, including low-volume deliveries and C-section procedures, with a patient load of 16–20 patients daily. The role involves clinic duties, beeper call coverage, and ensuring continuity of care during scheduled clinic days and call periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric clinic coverage and support full-scope services
• Manage low-volume deliveries and C-section procedures
• Provide on-call coverage via beeper and clinic duties
• Ensure continuity of obstetric care across scheduled days and call periods

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics is negotiable
• Experience in obstetric care and clinic management
• Ability to handle a patient volume of 16–20 patients daily
• Willingness to participate in call duties

• Support staff includes OB hospital personnel, OB RNs, Respiratory Therapists, and CRNAs
• On-site, outpatient setting with an adult patient population
