About the role

Allaire Rehab and Nursing is a newly renovated nursing home seeking Companion Aides to join their growing team. Benefits include all shifts from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am with weekend shifts available. There are career advancement opportunities and flexible healthcare accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the front desk duties as needed
• Passing of ice waters and snacks each shift
• Making the beds and assisting with room tidying for new admissions
• Assisting new admissions with unpacking and clothing organization
• Aiding residents on necessary appointments or outings
• Maintaining open communication between clients and their families as a liaison
• Providing 1:1 companionship if assigned
• Aiding during meal times with tray passing and feeding

Requirements

• Passing of ice waters and snacks each shift

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
