About the role
The Patient Care Assistant supports patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care, and helps maintain a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Illinois approved)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification, maintained regularly
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office (preferred)
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy and EKG certifications (preferred)
