OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified MD to provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care at a 470-bed facility in Canton, Ohio. The role requires in-house call coverage with 12 or 24-hour shifts, managing obstetric patients, OBED cases, and approximately 1-3 deliveries per shift with 6-8 OBED patients. Support staff includes in-house anesthesia and NP/PA first assist.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care
• Manage in-house call coverage with 12 or 24-hour shifts
• Oversee obstetric patients and OBED cases
• Handle approximately 1-3 deliveries per shift
• Manage 6-8 OBED patients per shift
• Perform onsite clinical management and documentation via EPIC EMR
• Support obstetric emergencies
• Maintain continuous on-site availability during shifts

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to handle a dynamic patient load
• Comfortable working in a busy hospital setting
