OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MD for inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage on a 24-hour call basis, approximately 6-7 days per month with potential for additional shifts.

The facility is a general medical and surgical center providing emergency care, advanced surgeries, and a cancer center, serving a multi-state regional population. The work environment supports continuous inpatient care with clinical protocols in place.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vaginal deliveries
• Conduct low forceps deliveries
• Cesarean decision-making
• Manage complex cases such as breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Manage VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)
• Repair third and fourth degree lacerations

Requirements

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Prescriptive authority
