About the role
This position is for a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (MD) providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a 205-bed hospital with a dedicated Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Triage unit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient obstetric and gynecologic services, primarily on Labor and Delivery, covering approximately 90% of clinical duties
- Provide additional inpatient care as needed
- Manage adult patient population and support labor and delivery processes
- Participate in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
Schedule
- 24-hour shifts
- Assignments typically involve 2-3 weekends per month
- 1:4 weekend call ratio
Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Prescriptive authority
- Ability to provide continuous inpatient coverage
