OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

This role is for an inpatient Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) providing coverage through 24-hour call shifts. Responsibilities include managing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases, covering the emergency room, performing circumcisions (preferred), and conducting D&C procedures for miscarriages. The facility handles approximately 1,000 deliveries annually, with 2-3 deliveries per day, operating a 24/7 midwife model ensuring continuous physician and midwife presence. Qualifications: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred; prescriptive authority is required. Clinicians must maintain a clean file for temporary privileges. Skills and key duties: managing inpatient cases, emergency coverage, performing specific procedures, and working within a team-based, on-site setting. Additional details: support staff includes a physician and midwife, serving an adult patient population. The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with unrestricted call.
