OB/GYN Hospitalist – Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care for laboring patients, acting as the attending of record for patients admitted from the clinic and assuming the role as the attending of record when requested by community physician
• Affords assistance in resident teaching
• Performs consultation and emergency coverage for patients on any unit with acute obstetrical or gynecological concerns
• Carries out emergent GYN surgeries
• Serves as backup for midwives

Requirements

• MD License required
• Board eligible or board certified required in OB/GYN
• EFM certification following hire
