OB/GYN | Full Time
About the role
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services at Peterson Health, a not-for-profit rural community hospital in Kerrville, TX.
Responsibilities
- Take call 10 days per month with a mid-wife first call model
- Provide level II maternal care and level I neonatal well baby unit services
- Manage 2 FT OB/GYN physicians and 5 midwives
- Coordinate with 2 lactation consultants and 4 labor rooms
- Utilize da Vinci DV5 robotics for complex procedures
- Assist with up to 35-50 deliveries per month
Requirements
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current Texas Medical License
- Completion of an accredited ACGME residency program including robotics training
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in robotic-assisted surgery and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
