OB/GYN - Certified Nurse Midwife - Laborist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife - Laborist to provide patient-centered obstetric care in a multispecialty team-based practice with strong support staff. The role focuses on clinical innovation and high-quality outcomes within a supportive environment that includes dedicated administrative and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in initial examinations and collaborate with physicians on patient care, treatment, and delivery
• Evaluate pregnant patients through physical assessments, lab results, and patient statements
• Discuss cases with obstetricians to ensure adherence to practices
• Instruct patients on diet and prenatal health
• Monitor labor, administer medications, and deliver infants
• Perform postpartum examinations to ensure normal recovery

Requirements

• Master’s degree and Midwifery certification
• Completion of Midwifery Education Program
• At least four years of clinical Midwifery experience with references
• Current NYS Midwife License and AMCB certification
