Position Summary Are you passionate about cooking and love the excitement of a ski resort environment? We're seeking an enthusiastic. Cook to join our culinary team and contribute to creating delicious dining experiences for our guests. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, slicing, mixing ingredients, and plating dishes. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including cleaning equipment, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies. Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and prevent accidents. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive team atmosphere. Assist with inventory management and food ordering, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available and properly stored. Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs, including knife techniques, cooking methods, and menu knowledge. Contribute to menu development and testing of new dishes. Assist with food preparation for special events and banquets. Qualifications Ski or snowboard ability a plus!High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required. Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
