About the Role
The cook prepares, seasons, and cooks food for hospital patients, staff, and visitors under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Coordinator/Supervisor. Follows correct food preparation and handling procedures and performs a variety of cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Food Handlers certification within 90 days of hire (Jefferson and Springfield locations)
- Serve Safe Manager certification within 90 days of hire (St. Louis/South and Washington locations)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 90 days of experience in hospital food service
