About the role

Seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to help expand the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program. Our program has seen tremendous growth in all areas of heart failure, including cardiac sarcoid and amyloid, and is one of the largest heart transplant programs in the Northeast with among the best outcomes in the nation. Leadership opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with acute mechanical support devices, LVADs, and pre/post heart transplant care
• Provide critical care management for heart failure patients
• Engage in clinical, research, and teaching opportunities within a top academic medical center

Requirements

• Early to mid-career Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist
• Proximate experience (or training) in managing acute mechanical support devices, LVADs, and heart transplant patients
• Comfort in managing patients in the critical care space
