NVH Lab Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage daily assignments, schedules, and workflows for a team of 30 employees to ensure maximum productivity.
• Work Order Management: Efficiently track, prioritize, and handle work order management from inception to completion.
• Facilities Collaboration: Partner closely with the facilities group to schedule and ensure timely maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Logistics Oversight: Oversee all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving activities to keep inventory and materials moving smoothly.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary, first-line point of contact for all business partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Safety & Workplace Organization: Maintain a pristine, safe, and efficient shop floor by strictly following and enforcing 5S principles.

Profile

• Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role specifically within a shop, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Operations Savvy: Demonstrated success in managing work orders and coordinating personnel assignments effectively.
• Logistics & Maintenance Knowledge: Familiarity with standard shipping and receiving procedures, as well as general facility maintenance and repair processes.
• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities with a knack for keeping complex, daily moving parts organized.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and professionally represent the company to external partners.
• Safety-First Mindset: A deep commitment to shop safety, compliance, and workplace organization.
