Description
The is conducting an internal, promotional-only recruitment to fill a vacant Court Services Administrator position. This position is becoming available due to the impending retirement of the current incumbent. Only permanent employees who have completed their initial probation period with the Court may apply. While the soon to be vacant assignment is presently located in the Branch, the person selected for this position must be available for any assignment at any court location in the County. This recruitment may be used to fill other Court Services Administrator assignments that become available.
Examples of Duties
- Supervise subordinate Court Managers
- Work very closely with judicial officers, executives and managers in the Executive Office of the Court, as well as with managers at other court locations
- Develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures, local court rules and forms management
- Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities and operations of an operational or administrative division
- Oversee courtroom clerk, court reporters, interpreter services and jury services
Minimum/Desirable Qualifications
- Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business or public administration, court or judicial administration, or a closely related field
- Experience: Four years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative, managerial, supervisorial or staff analyst capacity in a trial or appellate court of general jurisdiction, criminal justice, or legal services agency; OR, Any combination of education and experience that provides the candidate with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of a Court Services Administrator.
