Nutritional Assistant (DT)

Primary Functions

• Dining room set up for designated meals
• Rolls silverware, ensures coffee area is adequately stocked
• Prepares beverages for meals served
• Serves residents designated meals
• Ensures resident needs are met during meals
• Refills drinks as necessary
• Serves coffee to residents
• Provides excellent customer service for the residents during meal service
• Allows adequate time for residents to finish meals
• Clears table of dishes, sanitizes tables and chairs, ensures condiments on tables are stocked and clean
• May assist in preparation of salad and dessert preparation
• Works as a team player with the dietary department, adjusting duties to cover other assignments as necessary
