Nutrition Services Supervisor

About the role
The Nutrition Services Supervisor oversees food preparation, delivery, and service operations; supervises assigned personnel; trains staff; and schedules nutrition services work assignments at an assigned school facility. This is a full-time position, eight hours per day, eleven months per year. This job reports to a designated administrator.

Requirements
- Associate degree in a job-related field
- Three years of experience in a job-related field, including one year of supervisory experience
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Manager Food-Safety Certification
- Any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating required skills, knowledge, or abilities may be considered
Qualifications

- Unofficial or official transcripts showing Associate degree (or higher) in a job-related field
- Valid Manager Food-Safety Certification
- Valid photocopy of California Class C Driver’s License
- Official Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving history record (required upon offer of employment, dated within the last 30 days)
Foreign diplomas/degrees/transcripts must be certified and evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
Examination Process
The selection process may include:
- Application screening
- Written examination (50% of total score, may have multiple steps on different days)
- Oral examination (50% of total score, may have multiple steps on different days)
- Performance or illustration examination (if applicable)
Participation in all portions of the examination process is by official invitation only. Candidates must successfully pass all parts to be considered for the position.
