Nutrition Program Assistant - Central Region

About the role

The Nutrition Program Assistant in the Central Region is responsible for supporting the implementation of nutrition programs within the community. This includes coordinating with local partners, managing program logistics, and ensuring compliance with all health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with local partners to plan and execute nutrition programs
• Manage program logistics including scheduling, materials procurement, and distribution
• Ensure all programs comply with health and safety guidelines
• Document program activities and outcomes for reporting purposes
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback and make improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in nutrition-related roles
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
