About the role

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. The purpose of this assignment is to support the development of a global nutrition monitoring guide to strengthen countries’ nutrition information systems.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Epidemiology, Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Information Systems, Data Science, or a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of professional work experience related to nutrition programming, monitoring, and administrative data for nutrition or related technical fields.
• Previous experience in the development of guidance and related indicator materials pertaining to monitoring.
• Experience working with and consulting country counterparts including national governments.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of one other UN working language is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple partners.

Desirables

• Previous experience in delivering presentations to country counterparts would be an asset.
