Nutrition Information Systems Manager

About the Role

Manage all aspects of our technology platform and menu management system through the planning, building, testing, and implementing stages of technology projects. Additionally, support Luby’s Patient Services program by providing user training for menu management tools to ensure success in patient and retail services.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the menu management software, including planning, building, testing, and implementing projects such as Allergy Interface, B2B, Floor Stock, room and cost center builds, and recipe management.
• Support ongoing development and implementation of patient menus for clients, collaborating with corporate dietitians and chefs to create menus in technology platforms.
• Provide ongoing technology training to end users across all accounts.
• Serve as a liaison between the menu management software vendor, IT, food vendors, and clients.
• Troubleshoot issues related to menu management software concerning servers, networks, mobile devices, and web services.
• Assist with company IT on product purchases feasible for technology platforms.
• Create and maintain menu software user manuals.
• Collaborate with corporate team members to utilize technology platforms for improving business goals.
• Work with Luby’s Leadership and clients on initiatives for Patient Services.
• Provide patient services support during account openings.
• Train staff on menu software tools for success, including recipes, production sheets, and meal ordering (call center/bedside).
• Input ingredients and other pertinent nutrition information to support retail programs using technology platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the position.
• Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of successful food service management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with CBORD, Delegate, MealSuite, or Computrition is a plus.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and personal drive to meet and exceed objectives.
• Demonstrated experience with technology.
• Knowledge of contract food service, including Healthcare, Business & Industry, and Higher Education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and public speaking.
• Experienced in client relationship development and management.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform manual data input for up to 50% of an 8-hour day on a regular basis.
• Must be a focused, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well under pressure with strong organizational and project management skills.
