About the role
MaineMedical Center is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to join their team on R4. The role involves supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and distribute meals to residents
- Coordinate communication between patients, families, providers, and care team members
- Manage unit clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining patient records
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Aid with scheduling and coordinating unit activities
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment
Requirements
One year of hospital or health care setting preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.

Pay
$3,000 sign on bonus for Nursing Unit Secretaries, prorated for part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
