Nursing Unit Secretary
About the Role

You will assist the team in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician, and staff needs while assuming personal accountability for the organizational mission and core values.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prioritize patient, physician, and staff needs.
- Communicate effectively within the healthcare team.
- Support the nursing unit in administrative and clerical tasks.
Requirements
- Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting.
- Ability to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally.

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center providing a full range of medical specialties and healthcare services to Denver and the surrounding region. Our state-of-the-art medical campus serves as the home base for Flight For Life Colorado. The hospital features four trauma rooms, including the T-10 room, and a dedicated field-to-surgery suite available 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams.

Pay
$18.00 - $30.25 per hour.
