About the role
Supervises and coordinates nursing activities within one or more patient care units to ensure patient needs are met and quality care is delivered.
Responsibilities
- Plans and organizes unit work
- Collaborates with other departments
- Evaluates nursing performance
- Participates in staff training, guidance, and educational programs to promote continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Academic degree in nursing
- Valid licensure or certification
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Preferred: bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Certifications such as AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on policies
