The Administrative Nursing Supervisor Full-Time Weekend Rotation position at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive nursing care and serving as a liaison between hospital administration, nursing leadership, and clinical teams. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence, teamwork, and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Provides and ensures comprehensive nursing care to patients/families, using the nursing process and appropriate standards of care in accordance with HSS's philosophy and regulatory bodies.
• Serves as a liaison between hospital administration, nursing leadership, and management, and the clinical teams.
• Manages and oversees nursing units to ensure day-to-day operational standards are met, including identifying patient service requirements, ensuring safe and fiscally responsible staffing, and maintaining efficient service delivery.
• Coordinates services within and outside the Department of Nursing to ensure appropriate patient placement, therapeutic regimen, and service provision to families.
• Expedites and streamlines the admission and discharge of patients throughout the continuum of care, fostering efficient throughput.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Supports an environment that encourages 'out of the box' thinking and maintains current knowledge of evidenced-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required, Master's in Nursing preferred.
• NYS RN license and registration required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALs certification required.
• 5+ years of nursing experience required.
• Applicable clinical leadership or management experience preferred.
• Specialty Nurses Certification (RN-BC, ONC, CCRN, NE-BC, NEA-BC) preferred.

Benefits

HSS offers an attractive compensation package, including a base pay range of $103,500.00 - $157,875.00, with additional benefits available. The salary of the finalist will be determined based on various factors, including scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

Pay

The base pay scale for this position is $103,500.00 - $157,875.00.

Schedule

This position is a Full-time Weekend Rotation, working nights.
