Nursing Station Technician - Med Surg - NST

About the role

This position is responsible for assisting with patient care, performing receptionist duties, and maintaining patient care areas. The role aligns closely with the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), and Patient Care Technician (PCT), making it ideal for those with CNA experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Able to work independently with mature judgment
• Capable of reading, writing, and accurately recording data
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (provided during orientation if not already certified)

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have 1-2 years of healthcare experience or an associate degree with a completed health unit coordinator program.

Pay

$22.12 to $31.21 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, nonexempt, 8-hour shifts every other weekend and holidays
