Nursing Resources Staffing Specialist (30hr/wk -10hr day shifts)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Utilizes Kronos time and attendance system to implement advanced master scheduling for the assigned department.
• Creates schedules and fills scheduled vacancies.
• Data entry of all Kronos changes/updates.
• Staffing sheet review and entry of all changes to ensure UET/Reserve/Floating is appropriately coded.
• Reviews payroll for excessive overtime.
• Aids in data collection for department financial indicators and staffing related data.
• Creates and maintains spreadsheets as needed.

Education/Experience

• Computer skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, graphics and spreadsheets.
• Type/keyboard at 35 wpm.
• Experience in healthcare environment, preferably with scheduling.
• Previous experience in secretarial/business support role.
• High School graduate with ability to read, write and perform math at the 12th grade level.
• Computer competency exam required.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs.
• Sometimes need to climb stairs, lift in excess of 50 – 100 lbs and sit.
• Constant use of hearing, sight and speech.
• Frequent use of smell and touch.
• Frequent keyboard and telephone use.
• Constant concentration and problem solving.

Pay Range

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
