Role Overview
The Nursing Manager leads a team of LPNs and RNs, overseeing nursing services for individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, or developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise staff performance
- Ensure quality of nursing assessments and care plans
- Monitor delegation processes
- Coordinate medical evaluations and service planning
- Develop and implement clinical training
- Conduct quality assurance audits
- Act as liaison with community health agencies
- Oversee high-risk conditions and private duty nursing
- Ensure regulatory compliance and care standards
Qualifications & Skills
- RN licensure with at least five years of experience with complex populations
- Supervisory experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license if transportation is involved
