Nursing Instructor

About the Role

This position serves as a unit educator, master teacher, and preceptor in a Medical/Cardiac ICU, providing evidence-based nursing care across diverse age groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education initiatives within the unit.
• Develop patient care plans based on current research and best practices.
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate staff on equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Deliver safe, direct patient care, including medication administration.
• Support patient education and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical educators and specialists to maintain quality standards.
• Promote professional growth through ongoing education and training.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures in a high-risk environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 18 months of related experience in a clinical setting.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS (required); instructor certifications (preferred).
