Nursing House Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care through effective management of patient care services.
• Evaluate staffing needs and provide support to caregivers.
• Distribute and utilize personnel effectively during the shift.
• Evaluate services rendered by and to all departments on an ongoing basis.
• Inform Nurse Executive, representative, or Administrator about significant circumstances or situations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold current licensure in State as a registered professional nurse.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of Acute Supervisor experience.
• Have experience as a staff nurse.
• Show competence in caring for the age and type of patient populations served.
• Show leadership, managerial ability, and good interpersonal relationships.
• Hold a current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificate.
