About the role
The University of Kansas Health System Hospice Services seeks volunteers to visit with patients at nursing homes.
Responsibilities
- Sit bedside and provide companionship
- Read to them, play cards, do puzzles, play music, or just visit
- Share memories with them about their life and family
- Help them feel they aren't alone
- You choose how far you want to travel - stay close to home or be a road warrior
- Shifts are flexible and always worked around your schedule
