About the role

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of our skilled nursing facility, overseeing all associates and directing overall operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations
  • Manage human resources
  • Direct customer service
  • Develop business strategies
  • Supervise clinical operations
  • Implement policies related to patient care, caregiving, and support staff
  • Manage budgets to meet facility needs and division goals
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
  • Represent the facility as a provider of choice in the community
  • Ensure census goals are met
  • Operate within approved annual budget
  • Serve as the Compliance Liaison
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and comfortable for patients, families, and staff

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in Washington State
  • Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
  • Three (3) or more years' successful post acute care experience
  • Certification with American College of Health Care Administrators preferred (ACHCA)

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret financial records and reports
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
  • Proficient in implementing and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Excellent customer service and positive attitude towards patients

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of post-acute care industry standards and regulations
