Nursing Home Administrator
About the role
The successful candidate will lead all aspects of our skilled nursing facility, overseeing all associates and directing overall operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations
- Manage human resources
- Direct customer service
- Develop business strategies
- Supervise clinical operations
- Implement policies related to patient care, caregiving, and support staff
- Manage budgets to meet facility needs and division goals
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
- Represent the facility as a provider of choice in the community
- Ensure census goals are met
- Operate within approved annual budget
- Serve as the Compliance Liaison
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and comfortable for patients, families, and staff
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in Washington State
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- Three (3) or more years' successful post acute care experience
- Certification with American College of Health Care Administrators preferred (ACHCA)
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret financial records and reports
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Proficient in implementing and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude towards patients

- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of post-acute care industry standards and regulations
