Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)
Facility: Ely Manor
About the role
Responsible for the management, leadership, growth, quality of care and profitability of the facility. Ensures all aspects of facility operations adhere to the company systems and programs for quality, consistency, and compliance. Actively promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and guiding principles as a representative of the organization. Fosters collegial professional relationships with associated business partners.
Responsibilities
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Interview and hire management staff.
- Prepare performance evaluations for staff.
- Meaningfully reward and discipline staff.
- Receive and resolve complaints.
- Discipline employees up to and including discharge.
- Adequately supervise assigned staff and ensure they supervise their employees.
- Monitor and correct job performance of management staff.
- Use independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years experience as an administrator in a long‑term or sub‑acute care facility.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current Administrator’s license in the state.
