Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)

About the role

Acts is currently seeking a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to provide strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day administration of Wellness Home Services for Independent Living, as well as healthcare services supporting the community’s Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods.

Responsibilities

• Oversees budget planning, monitoring, and control of revenues and expenses, including oversight of both budgeted and variable staffing that fluctuates with the census to meet the budgeted Per-Person-Day (PPD).
• Ensures adequate staffing levels at all times while maintaining full compliance with state minimum staffing requirements.
• Serves as the community’s HIPAA Privacy Coordinator, ensuring adherence to all privacy regulations and organizational policies related to the protection and confidentiality of resident information.
• Shares responsibility for 24/7 operational coverage with the Executive Director, providing leadership continuity and operational oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within a retirement community or similar environment
• Current state Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license
• Minimum of two years' experience within the geriatric healthcare field
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and assisted living centers
