Nursing Faculty - Adjunct

About the Role

Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors for our Practical Nursing Program on an adjunct basis. This role involves providing clinical instruction and fostering student growth in long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment that fosters students' academic growth and guides their professional development.
• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience progress.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.

• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse that will contribute to student learning.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Valid State RN License required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
