NURSING DEPT. SCHEDULER
Job Description
Complete and post the monthly schedule by the 15th of the prior month.
Offer all open shifts to staff prior to posting to agency.
Maintain and update block schedule regularly.
Participate in rotating weekend on-call responsibilities.
Must be available to respond to schedule concerns promptly.
Attend daily mornmeeting to review open shifts.
Maintain accurate daily staffing sheets and census hour tracking.
Post updated staffing hours daily at front entrance.
Update and communicate RN staffing levels to meet regulatory requirements.
Ensure all shifts are covered on a daily basis.
Work with DON to ensure all needed rental equipment is ordered for patient needs.
Log all rental equipment and maintain accurate inventory.
Must be present and assist with all meals on units.
Presents and maintains a positive attitude and influence as a role model for the employees and other staff.
Collaborate with Human Resources and DON regarding nursing assistant hiring needs, candidates, hiring and screening candidates and recruitment.
Requirements
- Must be an Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant for at least six months.

- Be able to Coach, Guide and Lead.
- Maintain an exceptional attendance record according to employee handbook guidelines.
- Be current with and/or continue to remain current with all expected education.

- Have exceptional job knowledge.
- Have excellent time management skills.
- Have self-initiative.
Hours
Hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm.
