Nursing Scheduler

About the role

We are a 5‑STAR Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Facility seeking an organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive Nursing Scheduler to manage work schedules and shift coverage for our nursing team. The role ensures the facility maintains safe, compliant staffing ratios to deliver high‑quality patient care and reports to the Director of Nursing (DON).

Responsibilities

• Manage work schedules and shift coverage for the nursing team (CENAs, PCENAs, Charge Nurses and other staff as directed).
• Replace call‑ins and coordinate all time‑off requests.
• Provide backup and support to the Human Resources Specialist, including completing timecards in a timely manner every other week.
• Provide support to other departments as directed.
• Ensure safe, compliant staffing ratios to maintain high‑quality patient care.
