Nursing Associate – Neuro Rehabilitation
About the role
We’re looking for a Nursing Associate to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at The Wellington Hospital. As the largest private hospital in the UK, we support people with a wide range of neurological conditions. Our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward is known for its close knit team who work together to provide thoughtful, structured rehabilitation and compassionate care. As a Nursing Associate in the Neuro Rehabilitation Ward, you’ll support people living with complex neurological needs. You’ll work alongside experienced nurses, therapists and wider colleagues, all focused on helping every person reach their potential.
Day to day
- Support people with neurological conditions through their rehabilitation journey
- Maintain accurate records of observations, including physical and emotional wellbeing
- Carry out delegated clinical tasks such as wound care and observations
- Deliver person-centred care in line with individual treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective care
Qualifications and Experience
- NMC Nursing Associate registration
- Level five Nursing Associate foundation degree or equivalent
- Experience working in an acute hospital setting
- Experience caring for people in neuro, rehabilitation, medical or critical care environments
- A collaborative approach and confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team
