Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary - ER
Job Summary
Under the direction/supervision of an RN, provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients. Emergency Unit provides care to presenting patients of all ages by clinically competent staff in pediatric and high-risk adult care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs receptionist and clerical duties for assigned nursing units under the supervision of the Clinical Manager/Director. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: Satisfactory completion of a Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assisting course or graduate of a unit clerk/secretary course.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year as a secretary
