Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of direct patient care tasks as directed by the registered nurse in meeting the multidisciplinary plan of care established for each patient
• Obtain and maintain the integrity of specimens in accordance with policy, procedure, and physician order
• Perform EKGs as assigned, following accepted practices, policies, procedures, and physician order
• Provide or assist patients with activities of daily living and fulfill designated responsibilities for ongoing continuum of care
• Assist with transporting blood and blood products to and from Blood Bank as needed
• Assist in problem solving and troubleshooting in the care and maintenance of equipment and assist in ensuring adequate supplies are available on the unit
• Provide one to one patient safety watch as assigned following established policy and procedures
• Complete clerical responsibilities for task completion based on ability and training
• Staff have access to non-controlled medications storage and supply areas and can transport non-controlled medications as necessary to meet the needs of the clinic and unit

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - Required
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience - Preferred

Schedule

• Part Time, Evenings/Nights (24 hours/weekly)
• 2 - 12 Hour Shifts, 7pm - 7:30am
• Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Pay

• $16.25 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals
• Up to $3 shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekend shifts
