Nursing Assistant (NA) - Float - Part Time Nights
Responsible Care
Provides direct care to patients, serving their needs in a way that promotes safety and comfort, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (with guidance from an LPN if applicable).
Duties may include:
- Providing personal hygiene care
- Aiding with nutritional needs
- Offering comfort care and other assistance
- Appropriately and safely transferring patients
- Taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping
- Recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients
Education & Qualifications
This position requires working a schedule of 24 hours per week, specifically the Perm Night Shift, every other weekend, and participating in a holiday rotation.
Education Qualifications:
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program OR current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry

Job Location: Essentia Health St. Mary's- Detroit Lakes
Shift Rotation: Permanent Night Rotation
Shift Start/End: 8 hour Night Shifts
Hiring Incentive Eligible Position: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $1500.
Compensation Range: $17.63 - $26.45 / hour
FTE: 0.6
Weekends: Every other
Sign On Bonus: Hiring Incentive Eligible Position: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $1500.
