Nursing Assistant (NA) - Part-time / Days or Nights

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Southeast Ohio is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Pay

• $18.05-$22 per hour (based on years of experience)

Schedule

• Part-time, 12-hour shifts, 2 Days or Nights per week and takes part in required weekend rotation
