Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Nights

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Dallas Downtown is a critical illness recovery hospital that provides world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters in moving patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Pay

$18.00 - $24.24 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts.
