Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Nights

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters in moving patients
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred: Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

• $16.00 to $19.51 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Schedule

• Full-time nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am
