Nursing Assistant - Full Time Evening

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors with a focus on quality care in a Christian environment. Serve as a caregiver in a long-term care setting, supporting residents with daily living activities and basic healthcare needs under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, resident-centered nursing care and psychosocial support
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and mobility
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and recreational activities
• Document care interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean environment and assist with housekeeping and laundry
• Participate in departmental programs and team activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in progress
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to follow infection control protocols and proper transfer techniques
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Continued education and certification maintenance required
