Nursing Assistant - Full Time Evening

About the role

Join our organization as a Nursing Assistant (NA), providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and collecting non-invasive specimens.
• Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Assisting with meals, snacks, and creating a positive dining experience.
• Providing psychosocial support and encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.
• Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the nursing team.
• Supporting housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean environment.

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in progress.
• Ability to follow infection prevention and control policies and proper use of PPE.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain accurate documentation.
• Commitment to ongoing education with annual continuing education credits.
• This role may involve driving responsibilities and requires appropriate licensing and medical qualifications if applicable.
