Nursing Assistant - Float – Full-time - Evenings

Partner with Registered Nurses, Nurse Technicians, and others to monitor patient vitals, ensure meal delivery, and provide safe transport. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Float to all hospital units as needed, including Med-Surg, Critical Care, Psychiatry, and the Emergency Department.
- Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork and raise the standard of patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program or current enrollment in a BSN program with completion of at least one clinical rotation.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a nurse’s aide in a hospital.
Schedule
- Full-time evening shift: 3:30 PM – midnight.
- 3 weekends per month required.
Pay
Salary range: $24.61 – $26.46 per hour.
