Nursing Assistant – Float - F/T - Evenings

This is a full-time evening shift position covering the hours of 3:00pm – 11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, right across from the Metro North Station.
Responsibilities
- Monitor blood pressure and temperature of patients
- Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport
- Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Improve patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment
- Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration, and blood pressure
- Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association (BLS)
- One year in acute care setting preferred or certified long-term care Nursing Assistant
- Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program
- Currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum

Pay
Salary Range: $28.18/hourly
