Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility according to each resident's Plan of Care.
• Support daily well-being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
• Maintain residents' health by monitoring and reporting changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and behavioral or physical changes, ensuring timely communication with the nursing team.
• Create a welcoming environment for residents, helping them feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is preferred but not required.
• Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Pass a state-mandated background check.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively for clear communication with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CNA training program.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is beneficial but not mandatory.
