St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking an innovative and experienced healthcare leader to oversee the delivery of quality care on all nursing units and in all support areas, ensuring off-shift and weekend operations align with clinical practice standards.
About the organization
St. Mary's Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center, the only dedicated children’s hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. Along with 24/7 dedicated pediatric emergency and trauma care, Palm Beach Children’s Hospital’s medical staff consists of 196 pediatricians in 36 subspecialties.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the delivery of quality care on all nursing units and in all support areas.
- Ensures that off-shift and weekend operations are conducted in accordance with clinical practice standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of RN Diploma or Associate Degree.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications
- ACLS (American Heart Association).
- BLS/CPR (American Heart Association).
- NIH certification (within 60 days of hire).
- CPI certification (within 90 days of hire).
